What is it for you? Pause for a minute to picture a few things you want to do. Maybe those things you never set aside a few minutes to appreciate. Get these thoughts out of your head and onto paper. Even better, add a portion of these to the best – indeed, the best – of your plan for the day. And afterward, do some of them! Notice how your energy increases when you set aside a smidgen of opportunity to accomplish something only for yourself, something that illuminates you. So, go ahead- be selfish once in a while. Put yourself at the highest point of your daily agenda. Healthy selfishness just may be the best thing you can do for yourself, the general population around you, and the world.
